I am designing building floor beams of a building with 3.5" concrete slab on 1" 22 gauge steel deck. The floor beams are steel beams and spaced at abt. 4'-0" centers. If the top flange is connected to the steel deck with 5/8" puddle weld at abt 7.5" centers, can the beam be design as braced beam without any consideration for lateral torsional buckling?

Thanks for your help.

I would consider that braced. How deep are your beams?
