Brackish Marsh Catwalk Using Concrete Pipe Pilings?

Desparately looking for an alternative to the heavy, degradeable 5" treated piles (250# each) for 1000' catwalk above Juncos Marsh. Piles must be driven with small portable tripod driver, etc. Lots of worm damage in this backwater area. Any reasonably economic alternatives such as lighter composites or high strength thinner wall concrete pipe? Will a 5-6" fiber-reinforced concrete pipe withstand driving and the environment? The catwalk could be subjected to 10 year huricane uplift surges but no boat lateral impact. Want to avoid the need to jet in this muck and sand ground. If I can use pipe as an engineered approach, I am contemplating using a jig stand for exacting pile alignment and possibly a casted cross brace member that would fit over the pipe ends to lay the dock stringers. Buck Rogers? Cheers!
