Brainstorming Fluids that rapidly Change Viscosity with Temperature...seeking ideas.

Hey guys,

I'm trying to think of any and all fluids that rapidly change viscosity with temperature.

For example: oils (coconut oil, petroleum, ...), paraffinic substances (like mineral oil), ...

What else has properties like these? Any and all ideas are welcome.

liquid sulfur is one of the more infamous
Liquid sugar and molasses.
High wax content oils (olive oil) change viscosity rapidly as the wax appearance temperatures are reached.

The effect is more pronounced with larger molecules, particularly long chain molecules that have a high aspect ratio.

Molasses is a perfect example of something I didn't think of. Thank you.

I'll also start thinking of some long chain molecule liquids.

Any other ideas? What about something industrial that moves through pipes and quickly changes visc with temp. Sewage?

What happens to Jello over time if not refrigerated? If agitated?

Heavy petroleum. Polymer melts. Waxes and greases.

No idea what he is looking for, but maybe if the pour point is near the relevant temperature, that would help?
