I am trying to determine an Endurance Test for Brake Drums used on commercial vehicles. Could not find a standard for it on SAE. so far I have a 9 bar pressure applied with a 1800 ± 50 kg*m Torque with 100,000 Cycles without failure. just need a place to start looking to best fit my situation, to test for the life cycle of my brake drum to send to the supplier.

Thank you

What temperature is the drum being tested ?

From ASTM A 159 -
Grade Suggested Usage
G2500a Brake drums and clutch plates for moderate service requirements, where high carbon iron is desired to minimize heat
checking (see Section 8).
G3500b Brake drums and clutch plates for heavy-duty service where both resistance to heat checking and higher strength are definite
requirements (see Section 8).
G3500c Extra-heavy-duty service brake drums (see Section 8).
