Break the link of PDF Underlay in AutoCAD 2013

Hi,

Can any tell me how to break the link of PDF that attached as PDF Undelay in AutoCAD?
Actually I have a PDF drawing that need to be attached in AutoCAD template as image. I tried many method but not getting clear image. Finally I got this method which gives me clear image but the link is the problem. I have to always keep the PDF file along with DWG in order to protect the linkage.
Any other method would be appreciated by which I can get clear image.

Is the PDF xrefed or inserted into the drawing? Detach xref or click the PDF and hit delete.

I wanted that PDF to be retained in drawing. only link (where the pdf is located) to be broken.

It is inserted into the drawing using 'PDFUnderlay' option.

should be in the xref dialog, click unload

Please open the Xref Dialog and click the Unload to break the link of the PDF file.
