broken out section in draft assembly

We're working with solidedge V18.

When in the draft file (made from an assembly), does anybody know how to make a broken-out section of a single part in the assembly?

Is it possible to do so?

When I try to make such a section, all parts in the assembly are broken-out!

Did you mean to say that you want to place a broken out section view but you only want one part to actually be sectioned?

If I'm correct then after you create the section view go into the view properties and select the parts you do not want to be sectioned. There will be a little "section" icon next to the sectioned parts. After selecting each part uncheck the Section box.

If you have a lot of parts then highlight the entire part tree, uncheck the Section box for all parts, then reselect the single part you want and recheck the Section box.

If this doesn't make sense let me know.
