BSP thread in metric drawing

I added a BSP thread to a metric part and would now like to make a drawing of said part.

Problem is that I am unable to properly dimension the BSP thread. When I use the "feature parameters" function it gives me a M59,6 diameter in stead of a 2" BSP one, as it should be.

do I need a bsp.atp.prt file? How would I create such a thing?

Metric drawing will have metric dimensions.
You need to switch your dimensioning scheme to english units for dimensioning the BSP threaded part.

There are NO tools which will allow users to create their own customized, or to modify existing, xxx.atp.prt files.

Also note the BSP threads are considered to be part of an Imperial and not a Metric standard.

I know this, the problem is that we buy certain parts from other companies, and those parts are only available with BSP thread (or are a lot more expensive with metric as, for that part, it's not standard and sometimes has to be custom made). In order to make these items fit, we need BSP thread in some of our own parts as well, and that's where the problem lies.

So basically what you're saying is that there is no way to properly dimension BSP thread when you're using metric standard for the rest of your part?

Either way, even if I were to use Imperial standards, there still wouldn't be a proper callout for BSP since there is no bsp.atp.prt, right?

I find it hard to believe I'm the only person having this problem. Do you have an idea as to how other people work around it?
At the moment, I just add a note to the thread with the necessary description...

The way this problem was addressed in the past is that prior to NX 7.5 we didn't support BSP threads, period! It's just that some parts of NX haven't yet caught up with others.
