We have a satellite with a TEG dehy system. The water that gets removed from the regenerated TEG goes to a holding tank that is currently open to atmosphere. This water contains BTEX and the vapour has a strong odour. I know two options of getting rid of this nuisance are a vapor recovery unit or incineration. Both these options are too expensive given the small size of the satellite. Does anyone know of any other methods to filter the vapors to remove the odour? Most of the BTEX remain in the liquid form, so our main issue is the sulfur in the vapours.

jwysmooth is correct. Activated carbon canisters work well in these small applications. You can buy bulk carbon beds from some chemical supply companies. If you’re concerned about having higher concentrations of sulfur might want to check into a liquids treatment prior to carbon application. Companies rent these units or sell.
