hi guys

I'm trying to build a body template in Adams/Car for which I have a CAD model to import to Adams Template Builder (as the body graphics or the body model)

I can import the CAD model easily into Adams/View but when I transfer it the same way into Adams/Template Builder I get nothing (no graphics of my body or CAD model)

would you please guide me through the steps of importing and building the body template for a full car model??? does anybody have a clue so as how to do this??

I know that for multi-body analysis the shape of the body is not important and just a center of gravity is enough but the shape and the cad model is important to me for show-off purposes.

thank you very much

I don't understand why you want your particular body model in a template. A template is basically a description of the architecture of the car, not its details. And that is everything I know about Template builder.

As far as I understand, add the CAD model through "File-Import".(In my example below, import xmt_txt)

Try to temporarily change the interface to AView if there is no problem with it: "Tools - Adams View Interface".
