We have 6 inch dia. spiral welded steel columns in our warehouse that have received repeated hits from lift trucks. The bottom 24 in. of the column has been pushed inward or essentially the side of the column has been flattened inward toward the centerline of the column. Can someone recommend a repair method?

No. You should go get a structural engineer to review this. The column could be part of a lateral bracing system, or the type fix could be dependent upon the existing loading that the column is now supporting. It would be wrong for this site to give you any specific repairs without an on-site inspection and full understanding of the situation.

I concur that a structural engineer needs to review/evaluate the column. In addition to the column section, the column anchorage at the baseplate and the associated condition at the top connection needs to be checked.
