Hi

We have a litte problem with our Laser, it a Bystronic Bystar 3015.
we are getting a error called "AXIS Plausibility Error" all the time now, and dont know were to start, we have had allot of repair men from bystronic (sweden) but they dont seem to know what they do.
so im giving this a shot.
The machine stops all the time now with the error "AXIS Plausibility Error"
does anyone have any ide were to start?

Best regards Stefan Andersson

Does this happen with both cutting heads (5 and 7.5) or just one?

With Both the 7.5 and the 5 cutting heads, and can happen on any cutting plan, if feels like the smalle the part is the more offen i can happen. but that can be my imagination to.

Hej BYteckSwedan.

Hi BYteckSwedan.

We had a repairman here yesterday, but he could not solve the problem.
They do not seem to know where they should look.

Hey Sean!

Can I get a machine number and I'll check what software you have in your machine and alarm should be reached more just "AXIS Plausibility Error"?

Regards

Did he replace the OSCII/Sensor print boards on the back of the cutting heads? Have you noticed any water leaks going into the cutting head? Did the service tech check the RITAST board in the carriage? Are you using Bystronic ceramics and not an after market ceramic?

Hi and thanks for the replys, atm we got a lot to do so i havent been able to awnser all questions.
we did get a new card to replace behind the cutting head, but that card didnt work (our old card had 250ma outpot and the new 160ma, so we coulden get a beem with the "new" one), we had to put the old one back so we atleast can cut some parts for the moment, we had a water leak on the 5" cutting head that is fixed with new gaskets and the whole brass part (water inlet and outlet).

The ceramics is bought from bystronic.

PS. have been cutting all day today and havent had any AXIS Plausibility Error (might be random?..)
the thing we had insted is that the "HALT" commando just jumps in anywere, and we can press continue.

BYtechSweden; ill get back to you with the machine number, its the model nummber ur talking about?
jag återkommer med maskin nummret, är det model nummret som står på "bommen" du menar?

Best regards

BYtechSweden maskin nummret är 583
the machin number is 583

That could have been the issue with the plausabilty error, Water in the head seeping into the board attached to the adjustment flange, if you dry it out thoroughly, it may remove the error. However, the board attached to the adjustment flange going to the OSCII/Sensor print board may be damaged. KrugTech, your thoughts?

You mentioned just about everything. What i like to do w those heads is drill a hole in the well where the circuit board goes. if you drill in the right spot, the beam purge air/N2 that blows on top of the lens will blow on that board and help keep it cool and clean.

Sorry for the late reply, but here is the JOB NR K960065

HI Stefan!

I can´t see in our system that we have been there to work on your machine at all.

Would you like that we have a look at ur problem?
