Having issues with 1" mild steel, the dross seams to weld itself back together. I would like to know first what are the optimum settings for 1" mild steel? Is it possible I have a leak or a bad solenoid valve. We once where able to make cuts without issues. Thanks to anyone who can help......

if it'sa CO2 laser, I'd look real hard at beam quality issues. Check the optics and make sure the beam purge air is clean or purge the beam delivery system w nitrogen
