hi.
we have an issue with our chiller unit.
A fault came up stating EXHAUST AIR FILTER NOT ENABLED.
The chiller temp rises to 25°c then cuts the resonator out. if you tinker you can start to get the temperature down but it gradually creeps up.
any ideas what causes this fault. we have cleaned the case filters and blown out the rads and checked the water filter in the blue cylinder.
any more clues would be helpful

Hi Sir Krugtech
We are using Bystronics laser Model 2005 , Due to water leakage Resonator NORDAC 700E 22 KW VFD Board Damaged. Now Turbine is not running , The laser machine is stop due to VFD faulty, We try to fix the problem but no success. so we are try to replaced with new another VFD. so before replace the VFD we need some important information regarding VFD. Therefore we need your valuable guideline to fix the issue.
1st of All I have some Question
1. Can we used another drive if sk700E NORDAC is not available in market.
2. How many Turbine motor RPM at Maximum Speed, I check screen when its running in ok Condition the frequency is 370HZ but RPM is not show.
3. Guide me connection of X2.1 and X2.3 VFD.
4. How we can verify the rotation of turbine motor that turbine motor rotation is right rotate (CCW or CW)
Plz Guide me

Rana- you can use another vfd, like a delta C2000 but you'll have to configure it.

If the vfd is outputting 370hz, the rpm will be correct.

You can find those connectors in the schematic, there's a reset signal, a run signal, and a 120hz signal to break in the bearings.

If the blower is running backwards, the VFD will have a lower current reading and the resonator will be unstable if it even lights.

Ok We try to find Delta c2000 VFD. Please provide us a copy of parameter setup.

Sir we have face some issue regarding VFD Parameter Setup. when we clear all confusion of configuration of VFD then we can replaced another VFD or same
1. For VFD we don't sure the rpm of motor at 370 HZ, How many rpm at 370HZ.
2. Sir What do you means that 120HZ signal to break in the bearing, please explain it
3. Sir I read the Electrical drawing
a) Connector X2.1 and X2.3
If you look the connector X2.3 ( 21,22,23,24,25,26,42 and 41), 21,22,23,24,25,26 is in sequence but 42 and 41 is not same sequence
2nd our observation may be wrong that wire position and color of 26 and 42 are not correct. can you tell us its position and coloure is ok.

Hope fully you will be fine,
Sir we try Delta C2000 Drive its work fine near to 200HZ Acce time 70 t0 120 Sec and current is 36A,But When running the drive at 370 Hz, the dry draws too much current and triped due to overlaod. And we notice abnormal sounds in the Turbine chamber.
Sir, Can tell us the exact parameters of delta c2000 and what value we should set it. that It works properly at 370 Hz.

What was the actual pressure when you started the turbine? If the pressure is too high or if you tried to start the turbine before it vacuumed down, you will have this problem. The turbine should only be run between ~60 and ~140 Kpa

Are your 3 laser gasses correct? if you have N2 or CO2 where the N2 or H2 belongs, you will have this problem.

after long time, we start laser again then we found that The turbine should only be run between ~60 and ~140 Kpa.
Delta C2000 drive take 23 Ampere in clockwise (Forward) direction and in anticlockwise (Reverse) is 32 Amp current at 370 HZ
here we are confuse that how we confirmed that turbine is running in correct direction.
we don't known direction of turbine Clock wise or anti lock wise. any suggestion plz
