I'm working as mechanical design engineer for the past two years,.
now I wish to study CAA for automating some of my works.
I might go on with VBA but I wish to learn CAA since there might be salary hike. and
new job paths in the future..

Bad idea.

Anyhow, start with C++ and get hands on DS training materials.

You absolutely need to have programming background, preferably in unmanaged C++.

Ofcourse not!
You just need to have couple of looks over google and books and booom you are a programmer, but bear in mind not too many looks!

Putting aside Tudor's sincere encouragement, yes, hard work is needed. CAA is pretty complex and proprietary which makes it a nightmare when studying without training.

OK
so I understand that there is hands on training needed form the original tool manufacturer
and more patience to figure out what's happening in the background..
