We are trying to calculate 35KV cable capacitance. Total length is 10km, size 500MCM. Shielded, C=50pf/ft, frequency 60hz. As per the formula,
Xc=10^12/2x3.14x60x50x10000x3.28=1618 Ohm. This seems to be too high. Any comments on this?
thanks
