Calcium related shrinkage in ALSi alloy 2

Casting tech manager of mid size alloy wheel plant Australia.
Does anyone have suggested reading/articles/experiences on the above,having issues with fluctuating calcium % seems to tie in with increases in shrinkage levels in the casting especially the thinner rim sections.
Can calcium be manipulated apart from dilution?Ive been told adding phospourus to a Ca 5 to P 1 ratio will help.

Yes, Ca can be manipulated other than by dilution. Have you discussed this with someone from Foseco or equivalent? Here is an extract from the ASM Specialty Handbook that discusses Ca, etc.:
