Hello.

Please, I wanr to know the name of book, magazines o internet article, where I can get with all details,
how to calculate the curves of cutter dredges in several concentrations.

Please, I have the idea but I want to have a reliable and exact method.

Topozla,

For top level reading, look at Fundamentals of Hydraulic Dredging by Thomas M. Turner. For more depth check out Slurry Transport Using Centrifugal Pumps by K. C. Wilson, G. R. Addie, A. Sellgren, and R. Clift.

Made simple however, assuming you are an end user and not working for the company that designs and builds the pumps, take the pump curve supplied by the manufacturer and multiply the head by the specific gravity of the fluid you are pumping. You will also need to multiply the power curve by the specific gravity.

I used to count sand. Now I don't count at all.

Thank.

I am an user of dredges and researcher too.

Bye...
