Calculation for Stack

Sorry, I could not joint in eng-tips session, because I had completed my project in Junggle, so I can use Internet.

Now, I have problem to design the stack, specially to design steel structure for sheel stack, may be Somebody can help me to give sample or literature to solve my problem.

Thank's for Arto about your information, I will check this web site. And for JWB46, the stack is tubular steel structure like chimney.

I already have calculation for stack just only calculation for vibration for stack, but calculation the thickness of stell plate for structure, I don't have yet. So If anyone have the sample calculation for this, please send to me

Have you considered simply leaving this design problem to experts that specialize in stacks and chimneys ?

I am guessing that you are a new engineer who is working for a new manager (doe he have an MBA ?)

Many project managers simply sub-contract this scope of work to specialty firms that perform design, inspection and testing services
