Hello everyone,
I have conducted a detailed calculation of residual strength of the hawser mooring rope(life prediction), but i dont know whether this calculation is correct or not.
kindly someone review my calculation in the attached pdf. and also i have OCIMF formula for residual strength R=S- (S-A)(N/e^(A(S-L))^B.
but this formula leads to non realistic value that the exponent (e power) is extremely large value, so i switched to another formula and done the calculation in the pdf.
