Calibration of Nilsson Model 400 Resistivity Meter

Hello-

We have an old Nilsson 400 soil resistivity meter in our lab that we are unsure if it is giving us the correct readings. We use it with the "soil box" method rather than in the field. Does anyone have any experience in using one of these? And if so, how would we go about calibrating the thing?

Yes, I've considered that, but I was hoping if there was a simple way to verify the readings without sending it off for a couple of weeks
