Which aspect of welding are you interested in calibrating?

A common method in the field is the "Up-5" method.
The welder makes a test weld. If the current is too low the welder shouts;
"Up 5"!
The welders helper then increases the Amperage setting by 5 Amps.
Another test bead is made.
If the current is too high, the welder shouts;
"Down 5"!
The procedure is repeated until the welder is satisfied with the current setting.
