I detest the transparency feature. I sometimes activate it completely by accident for a surface. You know what happens then. You can't click that surface to save your life, and clicking on transparency controls for the solid body just hides the entire body but doesn't restore that face to full opacity.

Is there any way to select an option to completely restore opacity on all bodies AND faces? I know the tree can restore it for bodies, but I can't for the life of my figure out how to remove the transparency on faces.

I'm using Solidworks 2010.

With your cursor over the transparent face, hold down the shift key, right click and deselect the 'Change Transparency' button.

Also, if you don't use transparency for anything you can change the selection settings to make the transparent faces selectable as if they were solid. Tools-->Options-->Display/Selections-->Enable selection through transparency (check box).
