Hello,

Trying to search for some information about BeO ceramic materials for attenuators, and make use of their high thermal conductivity.

I'd recommend to look for other materials. BeO has been banned for most applications due to severe health risks.

BeO, while being thermally conductive, as a number of disadvantages

> Brittleness -- dropping the structure to the floor risks breakage
> Health hazard -- the dust from machining the material is hazardous and cannot be allowed to be breathed. Inhalation of the dust is liable to cause lung fibrosis.
