CAN bus on a SLC/control logix

Does anyone know where I can find a can open module for a SLC 5/05 or a control logix plc?? %-)

How about a way to communicate with CAN open device from either one of these plc's. I'm leaning towards a gateway, but I don't know weather or not this is feasible. I don't know much about CAN bus, other than that's what DevicNET is based on.

HELP!!!! any and ALL suggestions/questions greatly appreciated.

I am curious about what you are trying to achieve that is not already done with Devicenet.

I have found communication to other devices (RS-232) using Devicenet to be pretty easy and straightforward.

Actually it's a meter running CAN OPEN. Unfortuantely, I'm not enough of an electrical guy to understand most of the info on that link.

I did find a company who makes a gateway that would communicate between Ethernet, controlnet, etc to CAN OPEN. I'm hoping the comms occur quick enough that there isn't a problem.
