After an olive oil leak, there is a party stating that vegetable oil will damage concrete/masonry that is 40 years old.
Can acids from bio-organic compounds (olive oil) damage concrete/cement?
Far less than 40 years of the previous exposure, but bonding something to the wall could be a problem. "Bio" is not either good or bad, but can cause problems.

some source says that vegetable oils deteriorate into carboxyl acid derivatives, and THAT acid MAY damage concrete. As a consultant I kinda need a good source to reference. thanks all
Yes, vegetable and animal fats can cause concrete deterioration. See ASTM Special Technical Publication (STP) "Significance of Tests and Properties of Concrete",Issue 169, Part 4 edited by Joseph F. Lamond, J. H. Pielert
