I can't find this in help or thru search--can you copy a section view & paste it on the same drawing sheet? My experience says no, but I wanted to ask to be sure. Thanks,

Brian

I do not think you can do it either but I am curious as to why you would want to? You can kind of do it by creating a second sheet, copying the main and section view to it, moving these views back to the first sheet then hiding the pasted main view and finally deleted the second sheet. This will leave two identical section views with the same designation. However, I get the idea that this is not what you want to do?

I had a user ask to do it. He wanted two views so he could clearly dimension the feature (half the dims in one view, half in the other). In the end we used "Relative to Model" views instead--worked better. Thanks,

Brian

If you need to clearly dim the features, scale up the view and use a larger sheet if needed. Also, having two views of the same features can confuse the machinist.
