Parts are not visible when added to assemblies (NX 9.0.3.4) per attached screenshot.
-I've tried View -> Show & Hide -> Show All. Also checked that all Layers are visible.
-Parts are visible when they are selected as the work part, but not in the top level assembly.
-Also tried View -> Fit. Parts show up fine when I make them the work part, then disappear again when returning to assembly.

I'm somewhat new to NX and not sure what is happening here. Considering a reinstall...sorry if this is a silly problem. Let me know if you have a link to a good NX tutorial.

Make sure the reference set that you are using for the component has geometry in it. Depending on your settings, NX can help manage a reference set. With the out of the box settings, NX will add the solids and sheets to the "model" reference set. If this automation is turned off, or if you are using the "empty" reference set, you may not see anything in the assembly.

Yes, can pretty much guarantee it's an issue with your reference set.

Thanks! Parts show up when I change Reference Set -> Entire Part. Previously, it was set to Model ("Solid").

Not sure why my geometry isn't getting automatically loaded into Model ("Solid")...

Thanks cowski. Found the setting to automatically populate the Model("Solid") reference set (see attached photo).

Starting to understand reference sets...used to hide things (like sketches) you don't want in top level assembly.
