I keep getting an error - "open clipboard failed" - every time i try to insert a part into my assembly file. Im running sw2007. Ive got the newest sp. Anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

Can you just drag and drop the document?

Have you tried using the Design Library or File Explorer?

Can you use the File > Open method?

I'm sure if you search the forum here you will find other postings on that. I think it may be a Microsoft problem as much as anything. That error showed up for us when we switched from Windows 2000 Pro to XP Pro. It is fairly random when it happens. I can usually get around it by browsing again to the part that you want while still in the insert part command.
