Can't Save

I am in the drawing file of a something done using master model.
While I was in the drawing, the file somehow got deleted from the directory that it was in.
I cannot do a "save" or "save as" to this file now.
When I try a "save as" it tells me that I cannot do it because the original file does not exist.
Will I need to pull the file off of back-up?
I am on NX6
I know this has been brought up previously here, but I cannot locate those threads.

If you wish to preserve the relationship between the drawing and the original master model, then YES, you will probably need restore a copy of the original file.
