I'm working on an NX5 drawing that someone else created. There is a section view on it with no crosshatching. Crosshatching is still checked in the Style menu, so I think he changed the crosshatching spacing until it wasn't visible any more. Well I want it visible now but I can't select it to change it because it's not there. Is there some other way to get to it?

I also tried inserting crosshatching but don't actually get anything once I Apply it.

Also related, I tried deleting the section view and creating another one. I get a "Section line add arrow segment error" when I try to make a new section view. So I figured I'd delete the parent view too and create them both new. Still get the same error. Just for grins I deleted the sheet from the drawing (the only sheet, BTW) and created another one. Still get the same error when I try to create a section view. Methinks there's something really strange going on here.

BTW, I get strange errors like this about various things on a regular basis. I can usually get through the problem by restarting NX, but this one won't go away.

Edit (pull-down) > Style > select crosshatching

There may be a problem with the layer being selectable. If the layers are not labeled (to find which one has crosshatching) you may need to highlight all the layers and make them all selectable.

Aha! It was on a layer that was blanked. I didn't even think about that. Thanks man.

I still have that weird error when I try to make a new section view but at this point I think I can work around that.
