Hello,

Been away from NX11 for 9 months, getting back up to speed.

I have an assembly view on the drawing. I want to create a break line (the jagged/curvy kind, not straight line with "heartbeat" peaks). I expand into the view, thinking I will use Studio Spline. However, when I expand into the view Studio Spline grays out on my ribbon - can't use it.

What's up?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Instead of expanding, try selecting the view, right click 'active sketch view'. then use a sketch spline.

I am on NX10, and I got it to work.
Below are my settings.

Thanks for the replies. I figured it out. There are two Studio Spline commands - Studio Spline, and Studio Spline S. The one with the S does not work, the one without the S does what I expect.

Problem solved.

The one that works is the normal version of the spline command, the one that does not work (for the expanded view) is the sketch version of the spline command.
