capacitance calculation

can anyone provide a formula for calculating capacitance in a cable with 3 or more conductors. Both for shielded and unshielded cable. I have been in cable design for 20 years and have not come across any formulas or models for this calculation. Thanks

Since the cable geometry is fairly complex (air-plastic
tolerances, etc.) why not just measure it ? <nbucska@pcperipherals.com>
