Capacity of roof Decks

Hello,

I have seen people walking on roof decks during construction and it has made me wonder as to what is the capacity of a roof deck, I mean capacity in case of concentrated loads. I have a design in which I have a 1.5B roof deck, 18 GA, 6.5 feet and just to make a kind of standard table for my personal use, I wanted to figure out the concentrated load capacity of it.

The concentrated load capacity of a 1.5B deck is 200 lb on a 1 square foot area. This will handle maintenance loads of someone walking on the roof deck.

For longer spans, the deck will feel "spongey", but it won't damage the decking to walk on it. Your deck is relatively thick....I've walked on 26 ga decking many times without damage.
