Dec 10, 2007 #1 limey1 Mechanical Nov 15, 2007 103 0 0 SE Ive heard that carbide tipped saws have made some progress when it comes to cutting S/S, compared to HSS. Has anyone heard similar?. It seems in the past, carbide has had problems with high nickel and duplex grades. ("gumming up").
