carbon steel corrosion by methanol

we are constructing a Atmospheric Storage Tank (Floating Roof with Purging N2 between Floating roof and Fixed Roof)in order to daily storage of Methanol.
is it necessary to Paint the internal surface of Storage tank in order to prevent Corrosion which may be induced by Methanol? if Yes what type of paint should be used?
