Carbonator ground 3

Carbonator for soda fountain. Has a water pump with motor connected to a soda tank to mix CO2 and water. If the tank is not grounded to sink the motor won't shut off. Why is this? Thanks

You are possibly exposing to DANGER !. Switch off and LOCK up the system. Do NOT try to DIY. Call in a qualified electrician immediately.

You need an electrician that has machinery troubleshooting skills. I concur this carbonator is dangerous to anyone nearby. If the carbonator was powered through a GFCI it would trip on power up.
