Anyone know of a good headhunter for the Western area of the US? Namely, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Utah area? I'm a chemical engineer looking for a change! I know there's not much industry there compared to other areas, but you never know! Thanks in advance!

Don't bet on that...companies are secretly piling in on my beautiful Montana!

As you know there are several large industries out West in those areas. Companies that have started on mining and moved on to other areas of industrial applications. those large companies have subsidiaries doing just about everything. But when there is only 50 people per square mile it doesn't make a lot of news outside of the community.

From one person who has 'been there, done that' Q is right on. Lots of high tech jobs in the offing. HOWEVER---If you are looking to improve your lifestyle---GREAT!!! If you want to be paid what other parts of the country are being paid---GOOD LUCK.

Beautiful, spacious, friendly (cold in winter , HOT in summer) country. Cost of living and real estate costs are some of the lowest in the U.S. Wages in general are NOT up to some of the other parts of the West.

Best of luck.
