If you work with old structures, this may be a big help. I have taken my Uncle's copy (he obtained it in 1928), scanned it, added a Table of Contents, and turned it into a zipped, 15 MB, .pdf file. It is in the "Miscellaneous" section of my home page, at The 1926, one-page update of discontinued beam sizes is included.

Thanks, SlideRuleEra. I have the 1920 Carnegie Steel Shape Book. It's nice to now have a newer edition to work with. I was afraid I was becoming out of date!

SlideRuleEra,

You do your colleagues a great service. That is a very interesting book you've posted there. I've looked at several of the papers you have on your webpage, and they all were useful.

Thank you for your efforts.

SlideRuleEra,

Thank you for the manual, as well as the other items you've posted. I have a copy of this at home but it's not in the best condition.

I also had a copy of the Tiger Wire Rope Catalog but it disappears quite often.
