Does anyone know if the Carrier 30GB-075-650 (it is an reciprocating air-cooled chiller with three Carlyle compressors and six fans on the condenser) uses fixed condensing pressure or floating condensing pressure control?

I ran into two units recently during an energy audit. No information on the web. Trying to get information out of Carrier on old units sometimes is tough especially if it won't result in a sale. It was built in 1987 so my guess would be that the condensing pressure is fixed.

Thank you very much! If you found it using Google I am going to have to give up on my Yahoo! searches and start using Google.

Note 4 and reading the diagram shows that it is basically fixed pressure control. Half the fans shut off when the ambient is below 70 deg. F. The other half are controlled by a head pressure switch which cycles between 260 psig and 160 psig.
