I am being asked to review the support structure for a conveyor system. The conveyor is being replaced and the owner wants to be able to increase the loading on the structure. The owner also wants to add bracing to reduce sway when the conveyor stops and starts. I have attached a PDF with some sections of the conveyor from the original drawings.
The majority of the longitudinal beams supporting the conveyor are castellated beams. This can be seen in section 1 & 2 in the attached PDF. These beams appear to be called out as follows:
WARRIOR MODEL #2072 (OR EQUIVALENT) DESIGN FOR A UNIFORM SUPERIMPOSED LOAD OF 404 PLF
Is anyone familiar with Warrior Castellated Beams? I have not been able to find anything on the internet. It appears to be a delegated design based on the note above. I'm starting to think that I will not be able to find structural properties for these beams. Any help is appreciated.
