in ASME II part D, table 1A for casting material SA-216 WCC, note G1 requests the use of a casting quality factor according to ASME VIII-1 UG-24 to be applied.
ASME II part D, table 5A, for ASME VIII-2 application, doesn't specify the use of such a casting quality factor.
Is it related to chapter 3.8 of ASME VIII-2 which specifies that cast material shall be submited to (Radiographic or Ultrasonic) and (Magnetic Particle or Liquid Penetrant) Examination; which would imply a casting quality factor of 1?
