Hi Folks
Caterpillar generator engine C15 controlled by PowerWizard
The controller can not run in auto mode during simulation of power cut.
When manual mode activated the machine run only while holding run button and stopped when Leaving it.

That's thw difference between a "Run"button and a "Start" button. I found that out on my first commissioning of a standby set.A start button is typically a momentary contact. A run input is used with an automatic start circuit. The set will start and run as long as the run contacts are closed.
Note: This is typical information and is not specific to the PowerWizard.
If there is a difference with the PowerWizaed, Mike, catserveng, will be along with specific Cat information.

It's the LAW!

A CAT C15 with Power Wizard was packaged by FG Wilson, need to know what version Power Wizard you have. Do you have the manual?

The Power Wizard was an adaptation of the CAT EMCP 3 series controls, in operation, pressing and releasing the RUN button should have latched the run command to the engine, and should have stayed latched until either the STOP or AUTO button was pressed.

One thing you might try is to disconnect the battery from the unit, let it sit for about a minute, the reconnect battery and let the PowerWizard boot back up. If that doesn't work you likely have a failed panel or corrupted firmware.
