catia catalog browser (V5)

I am having trouble accessing the catalog browser. I was able to access the "current" catalogs that were available in the dialoge box, but when I attempted to "browse another catalog the program locked up. Now I can't access the catalog browser at all!!
Has anyone else experienced this?

Try to run the CATScript file of the catalog u want to open ,once again. Then run the macro .U will get a new .Catalog file. U can open the newly created catalog file in the browser in assembly design mode.
