Hello Everyone,
I'm currently working on migrating CATIA files to Teamcenter. Our process involves two steps:
1. Creating all items using PLMLoad provided by siemens
2. Migrating the CAD files to the existing items in Teamcenter using TCIC Racless server.
While step 1 is quite fast, step 2 has been extremely slow. It takes about 24 hours to load 1,500 files, and we have a total of 75,000 files to migrate. The performance has been concernining. In comparison, I've worked with CREO and SolidWorks using IPEM and SWIM bulk import, respectively, where 1,500 files, including drawings, assemblies, and parts, take less than 20 minutes. This suggests that network issues are not the cause.
Does anyone have advice on how to optimize or improve the current performance? If you have experience with similar bulk migrations, please share the best way forward.
Thanks!
