Why are there no shareware available for CATIA ? (Apart from that which is available in the COE, where you need to register(pay) to have a look at it)
Are those with the skills just too busy with their real jobs, to bother with trivial stuff like this ?
Is it forbidden by the Dassault License Agreement?

Or what ?

Most of us work for companies that have paid for our CATIA licenses, and paid our labor for developing our applications. They don't belong to us, they belong to the companies we work for.

COE is a not-for-profit user organization that our companies belong to. We do occasionally post applications to the COE shareware directory. The reason we do this is because we have made the commitment to the COE Organization. We feel that we can share here, because all of the other companies/individuals that are COE members have also made the commitment to COE, and they share as well. COE's Cannons of Conduct also forbid anyone receiving information from that site from gaining profit from that information.

Uncontrolled organizations (such as the old German forum) have no such commitment or controls.

Strange, I've tried with different web browsers, with different setting for cookies and security on different computers and nothing. Funny thing is there are other links on the same forum which I can open without problems...
