I have a drawing sheet containing tables, lines and annotations that are not linked to a specific model view. When I scale the entire sheet, the lines are scaled and the positions of the tables and annotations are also scaled. Is there a way to prevent the automatic scaling of pre-defined 2D annotations and dress-up elements when changing scale of the drawing sheet along with model views?

I don't know of any way to prevent it if you're changing the Sheet scale.

You could move the lines and test in the table to a new view, and then reset the view scale to 1/1.

Or you can just Scale/Transform the lines and text.

Of course, if you had used a CATIA Table, you wouldn't have this problem.

Thank you for your answer.

One way that solved the issue was, as you said, to associate all annotations to a view and then lock the view in Properties.
This way, the view containing the tables and annotations is not affected when changing the sheet scale.

Sorry for my novice, but what do you more specifically refer to when you mentioned CATIA Table?

I have used a CATIA table, and the table itself does not follow the Sheet scale, but the problem was that its position did. Associating the table to a locked view solved this.

If it's a one time operation move the table manually.

If you have many tables or drawing write a macro that saves all table positions, scales sheet and moves tables back to unscaled coordinates.
