Catia V5 Equivalent of I-Deas Configurations

Is there a way to create 3-D configurations in Catia V5 version 17 of an assembly? Also would I be able to use all
these configs on a 2-D drawing as well?

There is also a assembly configurator feature in R18, that works in both 3D and drawing, think it came in sp2 or maybe sp5. Easy to use, you get a lisst of present parts and and ypu tick which parts you want in the configuration and you create a new configuration and tick again.
