CATIA V5 ICONS

IN CATIA V5 EVERYTIME I START A SESSION AT THE BEGINNING OF THE DAY THE ICONS NEVER STAY WHERE I SET THEM TO BE SO I HAVE TO REARRANGE THEM EVERY DAY LIKE THEY RESET TO THE DEFAULT OR SOMETHING. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO SAVE THE ICON LOCATIONS SO THEY STAY WHERE I SET THEM TO BE? WE ALSO PULL FLOATING LICENSES SO WOULD THIS HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH WHY THE SETTINGS RESET?

Nope. Not possible. This has been a problem with CATIA since it's inception (or at least since V5R5). Most users just learn to live with it.

This is an example of how DS's lack of focus on the little things translates into the perception of poor quality. Yes, this is a pretty trivial thing, but the annoyance factor ia HUGE!

PS, please turn off your CAPS LOCK. It is generally interpreted as SHOUTING.

You can setup an ENVIRONMENT (search DS online doc) and delete your userCATSettings before you start CATIA, this will solve you icon problem.

For the license you will have to NOT delete the Licensing.CATSettings file, but I am not sure about this. You will give us feedback if you do the test.
