Catia V5 R16 - ADMIN MODE 2

All of our settings and standards are pre-defined by our German office. However, I have the ability to modify some settings based on our needs here in the States.

OK, under the Tools\Options\Drafting\View Tab, All of the options in the Geometry Generation / Dress-up are greyed-out so I cannot modify them. I've looked over the generative parameters.xml files using Notepad but I cannot find the option(s) to turn these features back on. We also have an issue within the drafting settings here as Germany just changed the drawing sheet background color to pink with white object lines/text. Everyone here wants the old blue background with black object lines. I found the background color option but not the default 2D object lines.

Does anyone know how to do this or at least point me in the right direction?

About the greyed out view option it sounds like they are using "Generative view styles", check the last tab in drafting, administration, check the option "prevent generative view style" usage.

I'm not sure about the coloring but I think it's driven by the standard xml file found in: intel_a\resources\standard\drafting. Check also in the administration tab in tools/options for drafting what is set for drawing management regarding the standard file

Thanks for the tip, that did the trick! I'm still working on the default 2D color option but at least I have a few ideas.
