Would like to know how to select a rotation axis to graphically rotate part using a magellan-spacemouse in v5.

Can it be programmed to a button on the magellan like in v4.

it seems the center rotaion unlike v4 is always takes place from center of the screen via the software spaceball. but you can specify
a new point of rotaion... by hitting
in quick order...
1. keyboard "shift"
2. middle mouse button
3. left mouse button

this activates a perspective direction,
new center rotaion point, and zoom all at once.

after you hit all these in sequence
pull back on your mouse and you'll see a box
come up similar to 4dnav, move the mouse to
rotate your perspective ,hit your left m.b.
down again to adjust the zoom.

your cursor must be somewhere over the part
geometry in order for this feature to work.

good luck!
